H-LSAMP Scholar Sherille Bradley (senior, microbiology major) was selected by the President’s office to represent Texas State University at the first Undergraduate Research Day at the Texas State Capitol This event was organized by the Council of Public University Presidents and Chancellors (CPUPC) and Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas (ICUT).The event showcased the research work of undergraduate students throughout the state of Texas. Along with her research advisor, Dr. Robert McLean, Sherille met with Texas legislators and presented her research - "Changes in Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa Grown in Mixed Culture for 500 Generations" - at the Texas State Capitol on Monday, February 14, 2011.
